Honestly I think I’d switch Baertschi and Roussel. Rous was awful last season and added no value outside of taking 10 min misconducts. Baertschi has lots to prove and his career stats show he can be a 20 goal 20 assist guy over a full season. Baertschi would also be better on the power play than Roussel. Beagle, Sutter, motte, Eriksson, Pearson, Miller are all pkers so really Roussel doesn’t offer much to the team beyond being a pest

I think Sven has given up on the team, same thing that happened in Calgary. I think they ultimately send to minors again and trade closer to deadline when there’s less salary to move around. Wish it wasn’t so cause he did have a good run along side Horvat but I think the Sven well is poisoned. Second unit doesn’t get a lot of time plan has to be get greasy in front and get the puck there. Greener has liked the combo 26/96*/18 combo before. I see him going back to it. This is what got them to where they were last year. So why not see what happens. Next season is the more important one anyways

Are you really wanting Hughes to have to clean up Myers’ defensive deficiencies? I’d think it would be better for him to play with a more responsible and all-around better player in Schmidt, and let Edler deal with Myers.

not a chance Hughes and schmidt start together. they are the only 2 skilled defenders that skate or move the puck out out of the dzone under pressure. its mot logical to have them play together unless they losing and need to load up or late in the game defending the lead.
