I know, however, Hronek is a very good right defenceman prospect and there would be more cap to add new pieces to the offence

He’s not available. He’s going to be solid behind Seider for the future. If he were to be traded we would have selected Drysdale rather than Raymond and traded Hronek for someone upfront

Gonna be a hard no from Detroit. 1) He’s not available. 2) If he was available it would cost A LOT because of his age, low cap hit, and because he’s Detroit’s best defenseman AND our only legitimate top 4 defenseman

A better younger defensemen or young top 6 center. We really aren’t great trading partners when talking Hronek.

Sabres would only give up any type of asset for a backup goalie if the trade partner was taking back the Carter Hutton contract. Also the asset would not be a 2nd round pick
