I would take PK back with a 50% retain (4.5) , you get Kulak, Byron and no pick

I would still do it for just Byron and the pick we could move Kulak for about her 3rd or 4th and basically get PK back for Byron.

Seems like a great cap move for Mtl, not only is there 50% retention, but they lose that Byron contract. For NJ, the value is all in the pick. Doubt they would do it though ... Regardless what anyone thinks of PK, they need a few experienced defenseman & his contract is over in 2.
