I’ve seen so many armchair gm sending Byron to Ottawa, that I often see the exact same trade, again and again. Then I see the same trade for Byron to other teams. The same unwanted players are offered time and again, and as people receive the same feed back, the trades become more and more similar.

The most common trade is a roster player, a prospect, and a pick for a desired roster player. The same unwanted roster player, the same borderline good prospect, the same necessarily pick.

It’s unusual to see a truly new and unique trade idea here.
