How to rebuild a team in a max of 3 years. Rebuilds dont need to take 5-6 years of bottoming out.

This is for fun. Just showing how easy big packages can get a team moving quickly if they trade their 3 elite players

Okay but in 3 years all of those guys will be off their ELCs and you’re boned because you have too many of them and Bob’s boat anchor is still around

That’s why u sign some guys to longterm contracts that will be steals eventually and some may not cost too much if they’re contributing 40-45 pts a season. Like for example if you lock Myers and Dunn for 6 years at around 5-5.75 then that could look like a steal 2 years from now and become the new Pesce type contract

I know it is hah. This would remind me of Ottawa pushing for Heiskanen in a Karlsson trade and Dallas not wanting to let him go

I think the Flyers would be interested in Ekblad for him being a RH dman. They would also have to send some salary back to afford. For that reason I don’t think they move Myers.

Your probably right-maybe have to add one of York or Zemula. Still don’t think the Flyers would do this until next off season after the expansion draft because they would lose one their top young Dmen
