So you got rid of a 2nd and two bottom six roster players? Should have posted with Haula and Sheary.

Yeah maybe Sheary too. But i don’t trust Noesen as a 3rd line guy and neither of the other guys. You should have 2 guys on the 3rd line that can get you at least 35 pts for the year and 15 goals

This bottom 6 is looking really weak. I guess that's what spending all the money in the world on D will get you.

Tryouts could change that - still won’t be strong but we expect some names to make some moves in camp

This year is probably gonna be rough so the bar is set low for most of us sharks fans. I don’t even expect another signing at this point although I wish that Im gonna be wrong.

Handemark, Merkley could be some bright spots if they do well in camp. Dahlen could come over to NA and finally have an NHL career. Leonard hopefully lights up the AHL. Otherwise I’d be super happy if we got some of the players you’re suggesting in this post but I find it more than unlikely.

I genuinely don’t think this team is half bad. Realistically, the defence can hold its own. Goaltending is kinda suspect but maybe they can both rejuvenate. And for the forward group they probably need 1 top 6 winger and 1 more 3rd liner and they’d be really good

It’s better than a 3rd line of Marleau-Gregor-Nieto lol

Well the assumption is the sharks have high hopes for Donato. Meaning we already got our “top6 f”

So we’ll be

Meier Hertl Labanc
Kane Couture Donato
Sorensen/ Dahlen/ Marleau - Handemark/ Kellman - Nieto
Marleau/ ^ - Kellman/ Handemark - Noesen

I think Doug Wilson really wants a giant competition between our like 7 potential young guys making NHL jobs with a couple of them being rookies and than Sorensen, Nieto, Noesen battle it out with them.

I just don’t like the 3rd line tbh. 3rd line needs to be something like Dahlen-Tierney-Vatrano type thing.
