Detroit says no because Moritz Seider is the best defensmen in the NHL

sarcasm

He got 22 points in the A and people are acting like he's Hedman

Where did anyone say he’s like Hedman? Why are you evaluating a defensive d with points??

No one said anything about Hedman. It's Sergachev we're talking about. Red Wings will keep Seider. You keep the best defenseman in the NHL Sergachev. See I can play this game too.

Very good prospect for the Habs. I'd still take Seider.

Neither are Lafreniere or Byfield. Should they be traded for Sergachev? How dare Red Wings fans be excited over a prospect! The vulgarity of it! Only other teams fans are allowed to be excited about prospects.

No, but id say they're potential is better, I'm curious what's your player comparison of seider.

I haven't seen much of him but he reminds me a bit of Jiri Fischer when he first came up. He's bigger than Jiri was. But he needs to get stronger. It's too bad Fischer had his career cut short. He was really rounding into a complete defenseman. I think Seider has a higher ceiling though. 👍

I'll remind you somehow Tampa signed Point who scored 40 goals last year at less than 7 schmil they'll find a way

That was a bridge deal for one. He also had only done that once in his career, so there was no guarantee he would've ever done it again, and he was playing with Kucherov and Stamkos a lot of the year. Sure he's worth a lot more than that but that was pretty fair for a bridge deal.
