I mean with Edmonton’s top picks:

Hall-traded for scraps
RNH- didn’t live up to expectations
Yakupov-bust
Drai- franchise
McDavid-Generation
Pulj- too early to tell but probably won’t live up to expectations

Edmonton really hit 3 home runs with their top picks in McDavid, Drai, and hall (though they traded hall for little)

I mean how many NHL teams haven't even had a 1st overall in a decade let alone 3 straight years. Just looking at this and not the players selected is hilarious how they are not killing it

y'all have 17 playoff games in the last 13 years (8 wins)
the leafs have 25 playoff games in the last 4 years (10 wins)

I'll happily stick with this group and see if we can't break through one year, at least we're a lock to make the playoffs lol, can we actually say the same for Edmonton?
