Credit to @PotentialTrades for the base concept. I just think this is a more fair & incentivized trade that ends with everyone getting what they want.

Obviously Minnesota would probably have to clear upwards of a 2M of Pateryn isn't on LTIR and Tampa would still have work to do but I think this could work. Not that it ever would actually happen, I think we're past that point, but it is still very interesting to think about

Way too good for Tampa considering the pick will be in the high 20's and they need to move these players anyway. There's a difference between Tampa not having to add to move these guys and help their cap, and them actually getting paid in full for these players.

I like it. Solves problems for three teams. TB gives up Cirelli to dump TJ but gets decent roster talent for good Cap AAV, PHI gets the D help they need, and MIN upgrades their forwards while getting picks.
The draft picks would have to be tweaked for it to ever happen, but decent idea. Much better than the unrealistic one sided pipe dreams that are usually posted.
