That is a very big overpayment. Take out Galchenyuk and 2 of those 1st round pick. No way would it cost that much for a pending UFA

He has 2 years left not one. That's not considered pending.

It's still a big overpayment. So you got JT as your # 1 centre over Galchenyuk, OK. Look who you have as your top LWer, Shaw. This trade doesn't help Montreal now and in the future.

Want Tavares it would have to deal equal money to Isles......Plekanek....and Montreal would have throw futures in such a Dman Sergakov and more

Probably Gally and 2 firsts is what it would take. Considering the UFA status of his contract that expires at the end of next season, it's an overpayment for sure
