Giving it a go TB side

Created by: Anus_McLeod
Team: 2020-21 Tampa Bay Lightning
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 1, 2020
Published: Dec. 2, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Most are looking at TB dumping TJ, Gourde, etc., but I wonder if they might be better off in the long run getting a better return for Cirelli.

Not too sure about the trade, but Nashville seems like a team that could be a beneficiary of Tampa's cap troubles.

Crazy how it's still so tight even after moving players out.

Tend to agree. I started with a first but then placed a hefty premium on the Preds ability to take cap and retain on Jarnkrok and ended up at a third. It is up for debate though, as I'm not sure where the value should be in this environment.

For sure. It's a total cap move for Tampa. They lose big but can catch their tears in the Cup Coleman helped them win.

Still, he's one of the last players they should move. He can do everything and he's at a cheap price. Give up a 1st to get rid of Johnson/Gourde, I don't know but keep this guy.

That's a pretty valid view. I wanted to move Coburn but the NTC got in the way. Anyway, I'm just not convinced they can move TJ or Gourde (or are willing to pay the price to do so). In any case, I wanted this to be a different take than the many other TB posts.
