As much as I’m not a fan or Nylander. That line of him Barkov and Pasta would compliment each other so well.

that line would be utterly unstoppable on the breakout and rush. imagine having to defend against that and worrying if Barkov is gonna pass it to Nylander or Pastrnak for the transition?

Super easy though with E-L contracts.. even 1 E-L contract and it makes it so easy. Try it without 2 of your top Defenders having E-L contracts. And your back-up goalie.

oh sure, i was just having some fun. If i was being serious about building a cap team i'd swap Hedman for McAvoy or something and use the extra cash on a guy like Schmidt or whatever.
Using ELC's isnt really as big a cheat code as people who just load up their teams with guys who are on hilarious bargain deals like Mackinnon or Pasta anyways.

It’s not seeing as most teams have 1-2 EL contracts on their team. But everyone just takes the top prospects on E-L. And then it’s a cheat code. You are getting all-star players at 800k..lol.

i mean, i figure each team has about 3 guys on ELC deals anyway, so why not?

Sure, but the Canucks are gonna have to pay up and give them an extension this year or next. Quinn Hughes will be making 8M a year next year. And same with Pettersson.

oh yeah, my team is hooped when contracts come up, but i'll take the cup and run with it
