Sharks would never retain that much unless a prospect like Podkolzin was coming back.

The canucks are a young up and coming team it makes no sense to trade prospects and picks for a player that may only help for a year or two. Then they are stuck with Another thirty something player on a heavy cap contract.Benning has already made that mistake more than once the owners will not let him make that mistake again.in my opinion.
