They got a 3rd for Schmidt so I’m hesitant on adding any more

I don't know if it matters a lot but they were like $5M+ over the cap, now only $1M. I don't expect fair value because of that and the flat cap but a 3rd is almost nothing for a guy like Pacioretty.

There were some rumblings that the team was targeting a ~75m internal budget. Don't know how accurate that is, but I don't quite disbelieve it. I do think they want to get a real look at a number of the forwards they have in the system right now.
