Savard is overpaid, he's not worth a first, let alone a first and two solid players

Andersen and a 1st seems like a lot to pay for a twice as expensive upgrade to their 4th dman

Toronto atleast has to get Tuch back in that Marner deal. and I think Vegas is even willing to give up assets for a team to take Fluery and his contract. That Marner trade would be bad for Toronto, IMO.

If Toronto had Cap Room I’d like the Killorn pick-up though. He’s a slightly better version of Hyman IMO.
Hyman/Matthews/Marner and Killorn/Tavares/Nylander would be 2 dangerous lines!! TB would probably have to retain 1.5M though. And Toronto would still have to trade Kerfoot. Or Holl and Engvall.

Three dreadful trades for the Leafs. Marner for short term oldies, Andersen given away and even worse is that Savard trade. What's with the obsession with other teams RHD?

How does the Marner trade benefit Vegas? Oh that's right it doesn't benefit them, Marner makes close to $11 million per Pacioretty makes $7 million per for 3 more years. Marc Andre-Fleury make $7 million for 2 more years and Vegas GM Kelly McCrimmon eats $3.5 million on MAF for 2 more seasons there's no freaking way Vegas can afford this deal.

Why would Carolina do that trade? Take on a mil more in cap, which they're already tight on, and gain a 3rd goalie who underperformed one of the Canes goalies last season? What's the point?
