Regardless Francis should be fired for this take, Monahan and Gaudreau on the third line is absurd, and Simon and Dube on the top line is as well. I don’t remember what he said about the D but I would be very surprised if they signed Tanev to 4.5mil and played him on the 3rd pair when they only have 2 right shot D.

Ya his whole idea was to spread the ice time and become a 4-line team. Gaudreau and Monahan would still get top pp to keep their minutes up but take the weight off them 5on5
