Derek Forbort*. That's not enough for Cirelli and Pionk/DeMelo are better than Hamonic.

If Hamonic wants to play LD, they need to get him. He would be a waste playing in Poolmans spot as he is good enough. As for Cirelli, as it's a 2 year deal, he may take it but I bet TBL matches...I still would try tho

I know, Tampa could match that. And you have to get the player to sign.

Cirelli never signs in Winnipeg and that's terrible asset management to use Roslovic to dump Perreault.

So does anyone know how the "taxi squads" are going to work when it comes to waivers? Are players going to be able to be moved back and forth from the tax year squad to the main roster when needed without passing through waivers or not?
Are the taxi squads only in place until the AHL season starts? And if so what happens with waivers then when the taxi squad players get sent to the AHL teams?

With what cap space? Less then a month till when they want to start the season. They match gms prices will go up from whatever their asking to take on killhorn and Johnson.

He might assuming Tampa would match much like Aho. They haven't ironed that all out yet. But sounds like they'll have an expanded roster (taxi squad) in the bubble it was an extra 7 players. Somewhere between 4-7 most likely won't count against the cap but still be paid AHL salary at minimum I'm guessing. How that works for teams hoping to carry 21/22 players to get under the cap (Toronto) not sure.

The Perrault trade would come after the offer sheet we have enough space with Little going on LTIR. Essentially giving up Roslovic and a 2nd for Cirelli and a 4 th acceptable in my mind.

What about waivers?

Hypothetical scenario: Niku is on the taxi squad then recalled cause Pionk gets hurt for a few games and once Pionk returns they send Niku back to the taxi squad, does he have to clear waivers?

I don't imagine so no. Most likely they'd clear waivers at the beginning of the season but the claiming team has to put them on their active roster if they claim one most teams don't having their roster set. its something like ten games played or around 30 days being recalled before they'd have to clear again. At that point they may have to again they may keep that in place.
