Want D. Savard, R. Murray, B. Jenner, and A. Wennberg - the other guys coming from Columbus are just trade filler to make things work better with the salary cap, number of contracts, etc. -------- I understand it is a bit of a fantasy to make a trade this large, but the Leafs have many prospects/players at forward and need solid improvement on defence.

Ok so, basically it's Columbuses new core for Toronto's old core (save for Kapanen). Value might be there, I'm not even sure, probably not actually, but I don't think the Jackets would want this.

Dion't see how this helps the Leafs. In really NHLers, it's about even, but the Leafs give up more prospects and cap space the Leafs had is gone.

So you want the Blue Jackets to construct their roster that they've spent time on putting together just to give it to a very struggling and long time suffering Maple Leafs? No.
