Gonna need to add $2-3 mil more for Barzal to consider in my opinion. Young 1st line centers are getting $9-10 mil nowadays.

How about a compromise. I agree that Barzy is worth more, but i still think he needs more development, so I bumped his contract up to $8,500,000. He wants to be paid but wants to win with this team. Thanks for the input!

Looks pretty solid, although I think that Bellows projection may be a little optimistic (at least on the isles.) Also, I rly hope Lee doesn’t regress to a 4th liner that soon into the contract. But yeah like I said looks pretty realistic to me if we weren’t to make any trades

Yea, when I made this, I was looking a little more into the future than 2022-23. I hope Lee will still be great then, especially with his contract. I just thought he fit that fourth line of gritty players.

I don’t know if this is true, but it’s not the first time I’ve seen someone say something like this on twitter

I mean I’d be upset if I were his parents as well lol. He’s an offensive minded player, so don’t get put him in a checking role. It’s that easy

100% - Thompson puts bellows on the 3rd line with Colin McDonald and some other grinder lol. It’s bizarre.

I really hope wahlstrom makes the team so he doesn’t have to deal with Thompson anymore
