team doesn't matter, whoever will take him for whatever return. But the bottom 6 could certainly use some improvement

I'd do that trade from the CBJ perspective. I'd think it would depend on what Jarmo thinks of Strome, though.

and what Chicago thinks of him. I think he's a 2nd liner who still has top line potential. I think it may be a bit much from Chicago actually, unless PLD's price gets driven up by tons of demand

the bottom 6 sure got some improvement already. we arent adding an injured player to put us over the cap while giving up an asset to do so.

try to at least consider the other team before doing this.

Shaw 25%-35% retained for Hutton?

no, shaw still has another year and then we'd have to go find another goalie too.

we already have like 14 players competing for bottom 6 spots with signed contracts.

EDIT: i see this team is made next year. Hutton's contract is up at the end of this year.

Dear Blackhawk fans: Nylander is a bust. Just accept it and move on. Kid was drafted 5 years ago. Has been given ample opportunity to show who he is. Which is not that much. Now he has to overcome major surgery. Just let him go hawks fans.

I’d rather see Mackenzie Entwistle given a chance or another forward

he's 22. He might not be the top liner that a #8 overall pick would suggest but I think he still has a chance at being a decent middle 6 F

Buffalos bottom 6? Its extremely crowded, it doesnt need improvement, nor do they have the cap to start

Bold strategy. Hopefully the eye-issues were the main issue, and that he's ready to bounce back. It'd be a shame to put a decent team on the ice for the first time in a while, and have goaltending be the issue. Cheers!

Jarmo tends to do very well when he gets other teams into a bidding war. Josh Anderson's a good example of that.

Well how much more of leash do you wanna give someone who “maybe” does an “ok” job on the second line at best??? Nylander isn’t that defensive or aggressive so he’s not the best choice. He is a Dylan Sikura 2.0 because he is good enough to score in AHL but not enough for the NHL. Rather see Kampf on the third line anyways . Hawks need a legit top 6 RW not the dying career of Nylander (which is truly unfortunate for the kid cuz he had a ceiling) at this point give Chalupa some old chemistry with Kubalik.

He looked good in scrimmage, had some actually decent saves and flicked the puck into the empty net. He also just seemed way more excited as well.
