1.) I think it's difficult for the Rangers to keep all their current wingers for more than 2 years. they have 5 wingers with top 6 talent and only 4 roster spots for them, especially if any other prospects (namely Kravtsov) make a jump too. who is the first to go?

2.) is PLD actually worth pursuing? I can't imagine trading something like Chytil + prospect(s) + pick(s) for him and having him play 3C. if he comes in, Strome will either have to go out or play 3C. if Panarin prefers playing with Strome, PLD probably isn't worth it. and if Panarin does want PLD, then paying strome $4.5 million to play 3C seems like a waste.

3.) hypothetical situation: Rangers trade for PLD, keep Strome with the intention of letting him go to Seattle? I think that's impossible since he is only under contract for 1 more year, but maybe some kind of deal can be worked out (like the Panthers giving March and Smith).

*unrelated also Gavrikov seems like a great player and would be awesome to have for Trouba
