CLB says no thanks. They know how to fleece MTL apparently, they aren't about to let MTL fleece them

How are 2 top six roster players in their prime plus a 1st a fleecing? As for the perceived fleecing of Domi for Anderson, I don't think that either team lost this trade. Montreal got a top 6 power forward to bolster their offense and Columbus got a 2nd line center with tons of skill and speed. I think both Domi and Anderson will do very well with their new teams. Anderson is a bit of a risk especially after his surgery. I think that before the trade Montreal would have to have had Anderson pass a physical for reassurance.

That's the problem they're in their prime and they are both second line players. Aging as well. Why are Montreal fans constantly trying to trade them then? Any trade for PLD starts with Suzuki, which won't happen, CLB doesn't want who you don't want. And I it sucks, I'm an Oilers fan, we've lost a lot of trades.. MTL should of got more for Domi. Andersson at one point was a good player and had potential, had first line season and got hurt. And he's older. I'm just saying, MTL should of just held onto Domi and then let him walk when his contract expired. To me I feel like Anderson is going to cause hell for MTL with that contract and injury issues.

I don't disagree that it is a big risk for Montreal to take Anderson but like I said before I would assume that as part of the deal Anderson would have had to have had a physical otherwise I don't see Montreal making the trade. Montreal probably should have gotten a 2nd or 3rd as part of the deal but it wasn't that big of a deal to not get that back when we got exactly what we needed which was a power forward winger. Domi didn't want to play wing and was being held back on the 3rd and 4th lines so moving him was better for everyone involved.

Who did Columbus fleece from Montreal? Please don't tell me it's a trade where neither played has even played a game for their new team yet.
