No way the Habs are giving up 2 if Suzuki KK and Danault. Just not happening

Suzuki and KK I wouldn't do, but is it a safe bet that Danault is coming back? Dubois would be their for sure number 1 center for years

So you would give up a potential 1C (or definite 2C) + a 2C for PLD? That makes our 4 centers PLD, Suzuki then unproven Poehling then Evans then Weal as a replacement! That scares the hell out of me, if we are playoff contenders now we wouldn't be with that center depth especially if one of Suzuki or PLD got injured. Thanks but no thanks!

to me it's a potential 1B center and a guy who's gonna leave in a year bc he'll be passed in the depth chart by KK (Dubois) and Suzuki if that hasn't happened already

Stoic right now we have 3 #2 C's and a 4C (Evans or Poehling whoever gets the 4th line role) IF you take out Danat and Kotkaniemi we are left with 1C 2C and 2 4C's that weakens the team significantly. If you just wait 1-2 years and run with what we have we could end up with 2 1C's 2C and a 3 or 4C depending on what Poehing and Evans turn into and if Danault resigns. At worst you end up with 2 1C's a 3C and a 4C. Trading both Danault and KK for PLD makes no sense. It makes the team weaker now and in the future.

Have you really been calling KK a 2C this whole time?
