Gudbranson has been on the contract for three years and has been on 4 different teams within that time. We're not just looking at the current year and last year of his deal and the last trade involving him, we're looking at all the past trades involving his bad contract. That's 3 different trades from van to pit and pit to Ana and Ana to Ott. You're prob just an angry Toronto fan that's mad that they had to give a first to get rid of marleau. As i have shown that is not always the case as in you don't always need to give a first to get rid of a bad contract. Marleau also was being given to a decent team in Carolina not a rebuilding team with a ton of cap. Marleau was also being paid a lot more at more than 6 million.
