This is a terrible trade. CBJ gets a massively overpaid bottom 6 guy, two no-name prospects, and a couple of seconds for dubois??? QUANTITY DOES NOT EQUAL QUALITY!

This isn’t about sending back players who can score a bunch of goals. While it hadn’t been said I’m sure the reason that PLD wants out of CBJ is Torts, he’s hard on players and forces everyone to play a style of game that impacts guys who want to score. Need proof the Sedin twins has their worse offensive output in the one season he coached them.

So while the prospects may not be totally amazing it’s their style of play that is what would be most attractive to CBJ. Sutter goes to CBJ because he can play C and that is something that CBJ wants back as for the picks CBJ can either keep than to use, given that they have been trading them away like candy, or they can use it to go after a player who they are unwilling to use their own picks to acquire
