Nylander's value is significantly higher than that, he was just drafted 8th overall

Alexander and William Nylander were both drafted 8th overall (no family feud). Alexander is just 18 and should be in junior. Because of a the silly "European" rule, Alexander is deemed to be European and is on loan to the Sabres who sent him to Rochester. The Leafs also used this rule exemption to give William AHL experience also. Despite the fact both were born in Calgary...therefore Canadians (Swedish too because of their parents) Most other 18 year old juniors (Alexander played in the Ontario Hockey League) would be forced to either play in the NHL or get sent back to junior (no AHL)
My rant being said....Alex had 14 points in 21 games with Rochester. Pretty darn good. Some say he has more upside than his brother William. Either way, he looks like he can star in the NHL, and maybe really soon.

5 years ago coming off a strong 67 point season, Lupul was worth something. Today he is not.
