I dig it. Pretty good deals all around, and I think Larsson replacing Savard (assuming he doesn’t re-sign) would be a smart move. I also think Del Zorro has looked good enough so far that he may warrant a re-sign as well. Peeke is going to need minutes though, so something is going to need to be done about Harrington/Kukan.

I think getting Laine to 9.5 is optimistic, but we’ll see. A five year deal could entice him to that.

Random question but which Cbj goalie is likely to stay and which is likely to get moved? What is the trade price ?

If CBJ go for the long term deal with Laine, they would probably try for $9.0M x 8 to lock him down.
I definitely think Foligno would take $2M for 2 or 3 years.
If Texier keeps playing like he has, he will probably get at least $5M x 3. I like Larsson, but would prefer keeping Savard on. $3M x 2 deal to buy some time for Peeke & Berni. Plus, I see the Jackets trying to keep Del Zotto, he seems to be a good (and free) acquisition. He would probably not cost too much to keep for a couple years.
