The leafs. Kerfoot has been amazing for us this year. He’s been great positional and on the pk with mikheyev.

I say the Avs say no. Kerfoots been playing well for the leafs so far this season but Compher is the better long term player ( and has also been playing well this season, just took Kadris spot on the second line). Theres a reason why the Avs kept Compher and traded Kerfoot.

Honestly both say no, both players are playing well for there teams.

Very lateral move. Compher doesn't really bring something that we need any more than Kerfoot does. Unless I'm mistaken (I might be so correct me if wrong) Compher plays more wing than center, which would leave a hole for us. With kerfoot you know he works well with our group, and has looked fine as our third line center this year. Not saying it is or isn't fair, but I just don't see the point in this.

I think it is fair trade. Compher loses due to the Tor Media

Pretty much a wash, was never the biggest Kerfoot fan. Rather keep JT tbh.

Compher is better on the wing though, and Avs need a 3C, which is a role Kerfoot is better suited for than Compher. In hindsight it would have been ideal if Compher was the one traded in that Kadri trade.

Not that I'm the biggest Kerfoot fan though. There are better 3C's than him that we could get. But if given a choice between these two I'd take Kerfoot right now.

Yeah Compher is better on the wing, though he's been playing 3C this season, which doesn't really fit his skillset very well. Kerfoot is more of a natural C.

Oh agreed there, on all counts. That's mainly why I consider it a wash though, that there are far better options to target than Kerfoot. That's why I'd rather keep JT and look elsewhere.
