Bennett is an interesting duck. Why has he seemed to regress and not get better. Is it because he was overvalued coming out of Juniors? or does he simply need a fresh start to get things going? I would research this more. If it is deemed he would be better elsewhere, then yes I would make the trade for Mete.

No way. Bennett wants more ice time. You think he makes it to Canadiens first or second formation?

Bennett is a decent player and people are looking at his draft position (4th overall) and simply saying he hasnt performed to that expectation. He has skill, grit and drive - he needs a change of scenery for him to rebound - he was asked to hit and grind on the 3rd line which has for the most part has done. People forget he has 6 seasons in and he is 24 turning 25 this year. Its not like he is old. A good team should pick him up play him on the wing for the second line or continue to use him a C for the 3rd line.
