Description

Vegas is thin at LD after their top pair. Alec Martinez is 33 in the last year of their contract. I think Matheson fits the Vegas style of play to a T.

I don't think NSH makes the playoffs this year, so Haula should be a trade piece for them come the deadline.

Vegas passes on that deal. In season they aren’t trading Marchessault.

They will want nothing to do with Mathesons deal for 5 more years, when they have A couple of guys they can count on for this year and next year

I wonder if they offered Haula a contract in the offseason.
If they did and he didn't accept it.....you don't trade for him now.

Vgk easily declines. We have Hague and I think Martinez signs for less than his current deal next year here

Thats a good one bro. And they are just as "thin" at LD after this trade as they were before bc mike matheson might very possibly be the 3rd worst LHD in the league (jack johnson and mark staal notwithstanding) along with his great contract. Basically vgk doesnt listen to pit trade offers anymore
