This may be the most bias post I've seen. You think they've hit on every 1st round pick since 2015?
2016 - Kieffer Bellows has played 15 career NHL games and looks like he'll top out at a third liner. Considering theres guys like Max Jones, Sam Steel, Carter Hart, Jordan Kyrou, and Alex DeBrincat taken soon after. Hard to call Bellows a "hit".
2018 - Oliver Wahlstrom is just too soon to tell. He's played 10 career NHL games and scored just 1 goal. Nothing special to ride home about yet.
2018 - Simon Holmstrom. You seriously think this guy was a hit? He was projected as a mid 2nd rounder and New York stupidly took him in the 1st without trading down. 16 points in 47 AHL games and he's done nothing in the SHL the last 2 seasons. Defensively he needs a lot of improvement as well. Might wanna reduce the hype there.
I get wanting to believe your favourite team has drafted well, but nothing points to the Islanders hitting on every pick since 2015.
