TDA for Henrique

This Year's UFAs: I'm for keeping Rowney (at a reasonable price) and Hakanpaa (at almost any price) and letting Backes go (of course). What we do with Hutton depends upon what happens with Manson and Shattenkirk.

Next Year's UFAs: I'm for keeping Lindholm and trading Rakell and Manson. What happens with DesLauriers depends upon how our young forwards develop, but I like him as a character guy.

Expansion Draft: Protect the four young forwards we've drafted (Jones, Lundestrom, Steel and Terry). Give serious thought to protecting Heinen, Milano and Silfverberg and exposing Henrique (if he's still here) and Rakell (ditto). Give serious thought to protecting the left side of the defense and exposing Manson (if he's still here) and Shattenkirk.

Trade Material: Rackell and Manson.

Silfverberg: If a good deal is offered.

Lindholm: Only if a very good deal is offered.

Gibson: Never.

What now... When in doubt start quacking. According to my math the Ducks have only one goal thus far this season from a defenseman who's not injured- Lindholm has the other 2 goals. Maybe trade Henrique straight up (no salary retained) for Deangelo.

If Deangelo acts like a hot head and starts voicing complaints, the coaches and players could just quack him down. Deangelo wouldn't know what to do, except to quack along with everyone else. The Ducks and Deangelo seem like a perfect fit.

Rangers have said they will not take extra salary which AH has. So we are definitely gonna see a trade with Detroit in a day or so imo. But, ADA would be awesome. Maybe next season after his buyout.
