I’d rather Luke glendening. He’s physical, insane at faceoffs and won’t cost a lot. Evans was fantastic to start but has slowed down

to compete mtl needs 2 things. ideally another top 4 Defenseman (unless Romanov improves or we wait for Norlinder) and we need a game changer (is that KK, Suzuki, and Caufield next year? idk)

Trading for Eric Staal wouldn’t have any effect on if we make the playoffs or not, since he’d only get into 7 games once he’s done his quarantine.

And why would Montréal do it? We don’t need another top 9 centre, and he’d be wasted on the 4th line.

How has Evans slowed down? He’s played the exact same way the entire season. If you’re referring to the 2 goals he scored, I don’t know what you were expecting. Creating offense obviously isn’t the reason why he’s in the lineup, but I guess your definition of how a player is playing is judged by number of goals and nothing else.
