If that's the price for Ekholm, TOR should be all over it. It'll cost more though.

As for Reilly: are TOR fans that down on him? He's a top5 dman in the league IMO.

Toronto fans love Reilly, me too. Reilly is a powerplay specialist. He has been paired with some pretty bad players over the years, and perhaps it is unfair. I think Leafs should try something else.

Pens decline the 1.5 years of Reilly, If Ryan comes that cheap, well I guess he's just coming to be on the Leafs taxi squad. I'm not a fan of the Preds trade though for some reason that might be the going rate for Ekholm. Exchanging one LHD for another, doesn't seem to benefit the Leafs that much this season.

....why would the Penguins give up a young top four RD for a LD who sucks defensively when they already have like 8 LD.
