I dont think anyone does. We have seen time and time again guys clear who are usually solid but are making way too much $: Henrique, Johnson, Byron.. I dont see anyone claiming him at his cap hit.

Unless the plan is to trade Malkin next offseason, his hit is really prohibitive to the Pens. If they aren't going to try and capitalize on Connolly in their top-9, I don't think he's the kind of depth they'd be looking for.
