Description

With this team, might the Sharks still be a cup contender today?

What if the Sharks left Ottawa twisting in the wind?

Would it have been more empowering than once again fleecing Ottawa like during the Mike Hoffman episode?

What if Doug Wilson wasn't greedy in trying to put together a stanley cup winning team?

Demelo, Tierney and Norris would be playing key roles for the Sharks.

If the Sharks drafted Tim Stutzle, he would be a crown jewel to Sharks owner and fellow German, Hasso Plattner.

EK65's contract albatross would not happen and the Sharks would have much more cap space.

Sharks might still have some combination of Pavelski, Nyquist, Donskoi, Goodrow and Brendan Dillon.

Sharks would have spent to the cap even without Karlsson. So maybe they resigned Pavelski at 7m, used some cap to get a moderate Dman. But then the Sharks don't finish so low as to get Stuzle.

Sharks weren’t willing to give him the 3rd year
They offered 2 years 10 mil
I thought the deal was horrible for Dallas but he was a gigantic
Reason they made it to the cup last year and is a beast this year it’s looking like he was a brilliant signing by dallas
