Explanation for trades:

In the Athletic today, an executive said Buffalo would have to retain half of Hall's cap hit to get a 2nd round pick. A 2nd and a 4th is reasonable.

I based the Ekholm trade off of the Muzzin trade.
1st = 1st
Harris > Durzi
3rd > Grundstrom
Chiarot is there for cap reasons but he has positive value

Take out Thompson and Poehling

2nd + Mete I'd consider. Mete is our 7D and he's pretty valuable to us because he can step right in if there's an injury. Getting Hall would be big though so I wouldn't be opposed to the trade.
