Absolutely not from Minnesota wild. How many times does it has to be said Minnesota doesn't need or wants wingers?

Adam Beckham isn't going anywhere much less two 2nd round pick Adam Beckham is wild top prospect. & really good

Wild also don't need or want or have cap for Taylor hall

Dallas gonna be tearin' it down with you. No sense sending Staal to the Stars, because they aren't gonna be buyers

You think so? I thought they'd want Staal to get some more depth in down the middle and try to make one last push for a cup. I agree it's probably time to sell though.

Stars are one of the oldest teams in the league. They got hot at the right time vs. Calgary & Colorado last season. They also got world-class goaltending from Khudobin vs. Vegas. This season shows what this team looks like when their goaltending returns back down to earth & that's a team that struggles mightily offensively & have a hard time recovering from allowing 2 goals in a game. Given the way this season is trending, I seriously doubt Staal's ability to make the Stars contenders for the 4th spot in the central, much less for a Cup.

Value is certainly fair in the deal, I just don't think Dallas is in any position to sacrifice pieces that could help them in the future...not unless they want to go through an Ottawa-long rebuild process.
