Not the right pieces for NSH. They trade their bets two assets and only get 1 prospect out of it. They also have to worry about Pettersson in expansion. NSH would be looking at picks and prospects for those two -- not established players like Pettersson and McCann (who is redundant with NSH given they have so many middle/bottom 6 forwards).

PIT just doesn't have the pieces anymore to do those big deals -- they've done too many in the past and it's caught up to them now.

Agreed. Was told in the the Canes Forsberg trade that
1. he isn't worth a good prospect and a 1st and
2. He isn't a top line winger on any contender lol
