its when he was an all star

and girardi was never all star level good he was just a good defensive defenseman

points matter for making the all star game and since he had like 25 points, he didnt deserve to make it over guys like Pietrangelo, Byfuglien, and Edler

In 2012 when Ottawa hosted. They sent Karlsson, Spezza, Alfredsson, Michalek and Colin Greening I believe. He was a rookie, and that was the year they were doing the whole "YoungStars" thing.
