Trades
1.
VAN
  1. 2018 2nd round pick (PHI)
Additional Details:
2rp back seems like fair value for a starting UFA NHL goaltender.
PHI
  1. Miller, Ryan
Additional Details:
Phily needs help in net given Mason's struggles. If they are in the playoff mix, Miller can provide them good goaltending if they are making a run.
2.
VAN
  1. Kane, Evander
Additional Details:
Kane provides Vancouver some scoring as well as some potential locker room issues. Buffalo will trade at some point I would assume.
BUF
  1. Hansen, Jannik
Additional Details:
Hansen is a capable top 6 guy who can replace Kane. Both have the same term but Buff saves ~$2.5m in the deal while trading the better player.
3.
VAN
  1. 2018 2nd round pick (CHI)
Additional Details:
2nd rounder in exchange for a UFA depth player.
MTL
  1. Burrows, Alexandre
Additional Details:
Canucks retain 50% to allow MTL to acquire additional players to make a run.
4.
VAN
  1. Johansson, Marcus
  2. Siegenthaler, Jonas
Additional Details:
Marcus Johansson is a quality top 6 forward with term that will provide offense and creativity. While not a top-tier player, he fits in nicely on VANs second unit.

Siegenthaler is a defensive prospect who projects to be a good player.
WSH
  1. Edler, Alexander
  2. Granlund, Markus
Additional Details:
WAS will lose Alzner and needs someone who can replace him. Edler is paid reasonably and will likely be a top 2 in WAS. Grandlund replaces Johansson.

Buffalo can do better than Hansen, money is not an issue.

Mason's recent struggles? 8-1-1 with a save percentage over .930? Haha we have Neuvirth coming back in a week or so and Stolarz is a capabable backup who is 2-0-0 with a .940 save percentage so I think they pass on Miller when both backups are better. Especially if they have to give up a 2nd - maybe if it was a 6th or lower but it's pointless.

Both backups are better??? are you kidding... Haha Neuvirth with his .859 SV% ... Philly has some of the worst goaltending in the NHL, and only Arizona, Colorado and Winterpeg have allowed more goals against. Sure Stolarz looks good now, but Jim Carey won a Vezina once upon a time too.
