Description

Adding Carter at half price for a couple years is what this team needs. We have a ton of skilled guys who aside from Muzzin have never lifted the cup. Carter is a leader and someone who’s been where we want to be. The cap problems will be with us regardless of moves Dubas makes or doesn’t make before the deadline. I think a deal should be made before March is up to give time for the quarantine period. We can keep him also because someone will overpay Hyman is free agency and Jumbo likely will retire or comeback on the cheap. Same with Spezza

The Kings are in the mix for a playoff spot so they might not make a trade. If they do though, Dustin Brown is someone who I think would be a perfect fit for this team. We can play him in the top 6, he's playing at a near point per game pace, plays a physical game, veteran. He also only has one year remaining so we don't need to worry about the expansion draft. With his cap hit tho, we might need another team to jump in and retain some salary.
