    I think the intent is to show how much cap they'll have to be complaint. He'll go LTIR on day 2. LTIR works very differently if you don't need to send them to LTIR until after the season starts.

    The suter contract might be a little undershot, but with 9M in cap to work with, obviously its not the biggest factor. Also, I don't think Shaw is gonna return. Also also, I really like the way that 3rd line looks

    Ya, I struggle with what Suter would get. I don’t think it will be close to Kubalik, maybe in the $2 - $2.5 million range.

    I'd probably think around 2.5-3 for 2 years but yeah, probably not Kubs money
