One item talked about on tsn, is how toronto has a positive dressing room right now. Bringing depth grit players to not disrupt the locker room is important. JE, brings an attitude that can ruin a locker room.

I agree totally, from all accounts the guy is a real prick but he is talented as hell. This package wouldn't do it anyway, but I would rather not have him around anyway when you consider what it would take to get him.

It could help that Eichel is somewhat close with Matthews from USNDP days, but I agree it isn't really worth the risk. If the Leafs don't go far this post season though, then I can definitely see a deal like this being worth the risk.
