I would see Strome and Danault sharing 2nd line center responsibilities with Strome having a slight edge. He’s definitely not a first line center though.

Something like that. They play together when they want to load up late in the game sometimes.

not at all, they just always played different style games. Toews would always play with the Hossas and Saads, the power forward type, while Kane would play with whoever center floated in town that could win faceoffs and cover on defense + patrick Sharp or Panarin for snipes. They always had the luxury to afford that until last year when that was like the only option
