What use do they have of draft picks? Sabres have no scouting department.

I agree, if I was the sabres I wouldn't do this trade. But this is IDEAL for the OILERS, I saw a few sabres fans onboard with this trade so I threw it in there.

Both Hamilton and Nugent-Hopkins get more. There would be a major bidding war on both should they make it to free agency.

Hopkins MIGHT get more, but as of now there is only 1 team bidding. As for Hamilton, I don't think many owners would be to keen on signing a big FA this year. Carolina will push hard to keep him, but I'm sure they will have Cap and Cash issues.

I like McLeod but I'm not certain he's suited to be a 4C yet. Benson's been penalty killing in the AHL this season so I'm interested to see what he can offer as a 4th line winger next season

Nugent-Hopkins gets at least 7 x 7 and Hamilton 7 x 8.5 or 7 x 9. Close to Pietrangelo money.
