Quality And Quantity - More than any other team will offer

Created by: AJC13
Team: 2021-22 New York Rangers
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 12, 2021
Published: Mar. 14, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Trade takes place between this years Expansion Draft and the Amateur Draft. If Buffalo could get a better trade offer then this, go for it! But I don't see another team offering as much in quantity or significantly more in quality.

The Flames are not trading Tkachuk.

Probably not but if its to acquire Eichel he is not untouchable

So you're making a half ass offer for a guy that you dont want or need. Why bother then. Buffalo won't settle when it comes to moving eichel.

I believe it's not a half ass offer and it's the best offer Buffalo will get.

The Flames don't want to trade Tkachuk and Tkachuk is not what Buffalo is looking for. Is adding Tkachuk and subtracting Eichel going to make Buffalo competitive? Buffalo is looking to rebuild and they are looking to trade Eichel for draft picks and prospects.

There is no centerpiece...its just a random collection of future AHLers.
No Fox, no Laf, no Buch, no Zib. No deal.

The Rangers are not trading Fox, Lafreniere, Kakko, Miller, Chytil, Lundkvist, Schneider, Robertson, and Jones. Buffalo is not looking for players like Buchnevich. Buffalo's looking for prospects and draft picks. Few teams are willing or able to trade prospects and draft picks for Eichel. The above trade proposal is the best offer Buffalo will get for Eichel. And it's actually a very good offer...

Kravtsov did very well in the KHL this season, confirming his A prospect rating.

Pajuniemi put up big scoring numbers in the SHL this year especially for his young age.

Henriksson was set to center the top line for Sweden in this years WJC, but had to miss the tournament due to Corona.

Skinner has broken many ECHL scoring records by a defenseman in only 20 games so far. He was also part of the gold medal winning USA team at this years WJC.

Reunanen will be playing in the NHL when his season overseas ends or at the latest next season.

Hajek is already playing in the NHL.

Plus two 1st round picks - I don't see any other team offering more than this.

Buffalo will settle for the best offer they get, which is this one. But the Rangers might not even offer this? When Buffalo preliminary offered Eichel in trade, it was during the offseason.

Since then the Rangers no longer feel center is an area of weakness. It's probably better to hold on to the prospects and draft picks I proposed the Rangers should trade.

None of these guys will be impact players.
At best, bottom-6 forwards or bottom-pair defenders.
More likely, AHLers with inevitable return to European leagues.
    (and Skinner back to ECHL)
The two 1st round picks are by far the most valuable pieces in this offer.
Also, Tarmo is playing AHL, not overseas. FYI.
