Well that's obvious. And you're judging him based on just 3 games!

The fact that he scores a lot of PP points is a feature, not a bug. It's not his fault Matthews sucks on the PP.

How exactly does he suck on the PP? Drai is a liability on D, and the only reason hes so good is because McDavid feeds him points on the PP. without McDavid hed be a 70-80 points player max. And nah I’m judging off the 7 games so far, in which the leafs are 5-1-1 against the oilers. Crazy how you haven’t even been able to make the playoffs with the best player in the world in half a decade

Draisaitl stats are actually less "inflated" from playing with McDavid than McDavid's are from playing with Draisaitl:

McDavid w/ Draisaitl: 688 TOI, 3.66 P/60 (24% increase)
Draisaitl w/ McDavid: 688 TOI, 3.48 P/60 (19% increase)

To look at it the other way, Draisaitl outscored McDavid while apart:

McDavid w/o Drai: 2.40 P/60
Draisaitl w/o McD: 2.52 P/60

I haven't made the playoffs because I'm not an NHL player. The Oilers, on the other hand, have made the playoffs twice in the McDavid era and are poised to do it again.

I do find it funny that he just finished saying how secondary assists are useless and misleading because Barrie don't have a lot, and then turns around and talks about Draisitl's points with secondary assists because he wants to think that Drais>Matthews, which is completely ridiculous. Just ignore him I guess.
