CBJ wants a center and already has plenty of LHD.
Virtanen would be a ok gamble if his contract was cheaper. He really is no better right now than lafferty honestly but has higher potential.

Not the worst trade but Zucker really does nothing for Columbus, they need a center not more wings. As for the D swap it is an idea, but based on the constructs I’m pretty sure Columbus keeps Gavrikov, especially with all of their top prospects being Russians.

Also a team that’s about to start rebuilding will want to keep their draft picks.
