I am sure Pastrnak and would be super excited that two guys that are not as productive are being paid more.

Considering McAcoy is about 20x better all around than Chabot. He'd be up for like 10m Per.

I know people like to do these, but it would have blow up the Bruins structure and the team would look nothing like it does.

I also think if they draft Chabot and he is NHL ready in the Boston system as he was in Ott, then they don't draft McAvoy and they end up with Julien Gauthier or Luke Kunin. They already nailed Carlo and were (at the time) feeling good about their right Side - Miller was coming off his best year.

I know a lot of people don't want to hear this, but it's pretty clear the Bruins stay away from the DIva's.

Their entire 1st line is about 40% underpaid.

Brad Marchand is probably a top 10 player in the league and has been for 3-4 years and probably will be for another couple +. He will never make more than Connor has already made per season.

chabot played 2 years of jr after his draft so he wasnt NHL ready and they didnt know they nailed it on carlo until after they drafted mcavoy so they could have still had all 3

Yeah, I mean I guess. Carlo was widely thought of as a 1st rd talent. They at the very least had a good feeling about it. Especially after seeing him in AHL before 2016 draft.
Point being is these exercises are futile. Because, why would only the Bruins get a re-do?

I am sure AZ, Carolina, NJ, FLA and Dallas would have all taken them in hindsight.

Also if you hindsight the 2015 draft, don't you have to all drafts (2016). McAvoy might be 2nd overall. Top 5 depending on your preference.

Also - you missed my point about systems. Chabot isn't getting the same ice time in Boston - therefore he probably isn't developing the same. I've made this argument before, but in Boston he is getting to NHL a couple years later - like, Zboril. Chabot isn't good defensively which is VERY important to the Bruins, he isn't a leader as he was caught on Camera trashing coaches and teammates. He would not have displaced Chara or Krug. He would have been in a much different role.
